Mapdex Search Plugin for Mozilla
Hi all-

Praveen has configured a Mapdex search plugin for Mozilla/Firefox.  This allows you to search GIS layer names in Mapdex directly from your browsers navigation toolbar.

The plugin has been submitted to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/ and you will be able to install it from  http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=mapdex&submitform=Search

After installing the plugin you have to wait for ~15 seconds before clicking the search bar.  Sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for the image to appear alongside the plugin name.

Once you install and find it working you can click on the "Judge it" link and tell whether the plugin is working or not.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Re: Mapdex Search Plugin for Mozilla
Just a comment to tell you that I'm a surveyor and GPS user who appreciates the information on this blog.

I also have a heads-up, since this is a post about Firefox. The border around your post date cuts into the left sidebar. I'm sure the problem is a element or something.

Oops, didn't notice the "no HTML" rule here. I meant a "div" element.
